A neighbor of mine just return from Freetown and according to her, there are more generators per square-mile in Freetown than any city she ever visited.
The irony, however, is that generator owners buy them because of the lack of or inconsistent supply of power. But at the end of the month, after only ten hours of total electric supply to her resident, the meter man was gracious enough to hand her mother a Le10,000 bill. When when questioned about the unfairness of the bill, the meter man responded, dis na cam e jus cam ehn, nor to ya e dae".
Is this really happening?
