We in New Jersey know that Kabs Kanu is a quiet but strong and responsible man who does not fear anybody. I am sure some of you know him too and you know that I am not trying to fill in his weakness because the man is not weak. The fact that he is publishing a newspaper that takes such very bold stands in national issues shows that he is strong. Even here when he is preaching he does not fear anybody . He preaches bold truths and stands up to his beliefs. The problem with Kabs Kanu that many people try not to see is he wants everybody to do the right thing. At times I joke with him that he should go to Utopia if he wants people to be perfect . He has nothing against people . All he wants is that people do what is right. He was like that at FBC. He was like that in Liberia. Ask all who know him here. I have never seen Kabs Kanu involve in any quarrels with people .
And the funny thing I came to know Ms. Blyden through Kabs. I deliver goods and merchandise all over the world and Ms. Blyden saw my advertisement in Kabs Kanu's newspaper and asked him to give her my contact address. The kind of recommendation Kabs gave about Ms. Blyden was very good.He told me that she was his sister and I must treat her well and do whatever favour she asked me. But I am a businessman. I have people working for me that I pay. If I do free deliveries for people, I would not be able to pay my employees and my business will collapse so me and Ms. Blyden did not meet up in the price.
Kabs was so sad that I could not help her. I have been reading Kabs Kanu's newspaper and I saw the good reports he has been writing for Ms. Blyden. I was therefore unhappy when they fell out. But my main concern is not so much to fight for Kabs Kanu because if those of us talking to him not to retaliate give him the okey he can tear Ms. Blyden to pieces within minutes. I trust him. He has conquered people far stronger than a woman But my concern is the ungratefulness involved and the way Ms. Blyden is disgracing Sierra Leone on her own forum.
