You all might have noticed that I do not have much time of my own on a normal day but I decided to spend time to correct a grave misconception right in the bud that the new Electoral Commissioner was not a popular choice locally. I do not need to state how important it is that public perception of this choice of Kabbah be properly transmitted to the Diaspora. Most of the time, Kabs Kanu makes mistakes in his reports on his newspage but I tend to just overlook them. But this one was extremely serious and misleading which is why I stepped in to correct the misperception.
I quoted several sources that showed that not only was Thorpe a Sierra Leonean to look up to but she was also UNANIMOUSLY supported by all sides of the aisle in parliament. I decided to ignore all the issues of her alleged promiscuity as those unsubstantiated attacks on the lady were more an indictment on the mothers of the men writing the trash than on Miss Thorpe herself.
At the end of posting my points, Kabs Kanu went berserk and started saying that I had shown my true colours as a Johnny Paul supporter and all sort of accusations were levied. I stood my ground, never engaged in any of the language being used against me and posted even more articles in favour of Miss Thorpe's nomination. At this point, Kabs Kanu went out of hand and went berserk with even more serious attacks on the integrity and personal comportment of Miss Thorpe. Realising that we were dealing with his ego more than his brains, I thus instructed my staff to ensure that we provide a 24 hour monitoring of posts with the ultimate aim of immediately deleting any post made by Kabs Kanu until he could understand that at the end of the day, this forum hosted by me will not encourage unsubstantiated slander and wicked lies. We then stated that Kabs Kanu was banned from this forum until further notice. He then went to his newspaper and published an alleged letter from an anonymous "goostay" person. The letter had unprintable things written about my person. I then realised how deeply psychologically impaired Kabs Kanu was. I started legal proceedings against him and his Hosting company named EZOT/QuickBiz. He was smart enough to remove the offending letter before the 12 hour deadline. My lawyers advised me to still continue with the legal pathway but I decided to let the matter rest so as to avoid causing problems for a fellow Sierra Leonean. I am however still keeping that option open. And I will advise those who know the real Alex Mansaray to advise his very clearly as to the foolhardiness of allowing Kabs Kanu to use his name to make those postings that Kabs Kanu has been making here over the last 24 hours. They might be brothers-in-law but Mansaray should understand the ramification of the things that Kabs Kanu is saying in his name. I am ignoring Kabs Kanu (aka Alex Mansaray here) for now. But I might not continue to do so for much longer. I will not engage him in a war of words as I am far above his class. But I will not stop my lawyers this time.
