Since you refused to take up the challenge I will help you: there were themne, limba and sherbro people in sierra leone long before the mande (mende) arrived in the country thru the south-east from liberia.who do you think are the ancestors of king jimmy and king tom of Romarong (Freetown)? this mende arrival, the so-called mani invasion, has been placed in the early 17th century by most historians.the problem with many salone historians is that they usually write from a regionalistic or ethnic perspective.I will not name names, they know themselves. magbaily-fyle is one salone historian I respect however.By the way Bai bureh never said 'di wa don don' as talabi lucan would have us believe.this northern hero never spoke a word of krio.
